Windemere Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is looking for financial support for their Intergenerational "Buddy" Program. The residents of Windemere and the students of the Chilmark School second/third grade have a yearly "Buddy" program. They match up residents with the students and buy the students cameras. The students visit monthly to show their "Buddy" their photographs.  The photographs are used to open dialogue between the old and the young. The students discuss their lives growing up on the island while the elders reflect back on their childhoods and share their memories.

Windemere is entering the third year of the program which costs about $3,000 annually and is looking for donors who might be interested in helping this worthwhile project continue.
