Mission:

Martha’s Vineyard Community Services’ mission is to enhance the lives of those it serves by meeting the comprehensive needs of individuals, families, and the community through a partnership of programs that provide accessible education and health and human services of the highest quality.

Major Programs:

Early Childhood Programs provides infant through pre-school center-based and family childcare, a home-based Head Start program, a Family Network/Family Center, and a Supervised Visitation Program.

Island Counseling Center provides mental health and substance abuse counseling, medication evaluation and monitoring, case management, and 24-hour crisis intervention services.

Disability Services provides employment support, vocational evaluations, and family support for Islanders living with disabilities; and sponsors the Daybreak Clubhouse, a drop-in center for those with mental illness that provides vocational/social rehabilitation services.

CONNECT to End Violence (formerly Women’s Support Services) is Martha’s Vineyard’s domestic and sexual violence center providing outreach and direct services to survivors and significant others, such as individual and group support, legal and medical advocacy, and providing 24-hour a day crisis response.

The Thrift Shop provides clothing and household items for those in need while raising significant funds to support our programs.
