Education, research and public involvement in marine and paleobiological sciences, and preservation of our world fossil heritage.

Research Activities

MPRI has active collaborative research projects with scientists in the USA, Canada, Czech Republic and Poland.

Fossil Heritage Activities

Preserving our world fossil heritage for education, museum exhibits and research. In 2005, acquired 44 specimens and donated 20 specimens to public institutions for research, education and/or display.

Educational Activities
Developing and maintaing a website to be an educational resource, to communicate with the public, and foster the mission.

Public Involvement

Serve the community and engage young people and the interested public in preserving our fossil heritage and participating in marine and paleobiological sciences.
