Mission:
The purpose of the Island Community Chorus is to foster singing and enjoyment of choral music and to present public concerts.
Major Programs:
Annual concerts in December, April and July.
Chorus repertoire includes: Bach, Fauré,
Handel, Haydn, Lauridsen, Mendelssohn, Pinkham, Praetorius, Purcell, Sweelinck, Vaughn Williams, Verdi.
Also: Irving Berlin, Gilbert & Sullivan, Humperdinck, Richard Rodgers, John Rutter, Randall Thompson, Spirituals and American Folksongs.

The Island Community Chorus Peter R. Boak Music Award is given to a graduating senior planning to enter a career in the world of music. Available to MVRHS, Charter School, Private Schools and Home Schooled Students. The current amount of the award is $2,000. Beginning in 2009, our Endowment Fund has been transferred to the Permanent Endowment For Martha's Vineyard.
